Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

rough design for my friend Monica’s story and art contest that I am totally late for haha.  This is Scarlet Rook. She has a twin sister that goes by Sable Rook. They both have a version of containment/binding powers. They were inspired by what I read up on about the chess pieces.  I hope to start posting finished and cleaner versions of more character designs in the very near future.
