DC Women Kicking Ass: Meet the new X-Men (Who are All Ladies!)
So that teaser from Marvel last week with Brian Wood and Oliver Copiel was indeed an all lady X-Men. That’s a nice line-up, Storm, Psylocke, Kitty, Rachel, Rogue and Jubilee. I would have added X-23 but she’s stuck in Avengers Arcade. (Wood wanted Emma Frost but she wasn’t available).

Well, the world may very well end this December with the Mayan prediction… Cuz, this DC fan, just put not one, BUT 3 Marvel books on his pull. Yikes.
But lets see how long these last on the pull… I’m skeptical.
The Kubert School
I am leaving for New Jersey in a few hours so I can attend the Kubert School’s Open House.
I’m kinda nervous. haha I don’t know why.
I can’t believe this is a year old. I never posted it, I hope I can redo it. It’s based off one of my favorite Batman episodes where some of the villains play a card game and share their stories about almost killing Batman. Ivy’s halloween story was always my favorite.
Umm did I find a Welcome to Tranquility and Young Justice: Sins of Youth for 5 bucks at Sac-con!? Yes I did! Best finds!!! *con joy*

My bosses at the comic shop went to Hawaii last week. And while they were there… they got engaged! So my two coworkers and I, got together and made them a card and got them a gift card for an awesome little date night. So, here is my quick contribution to the card. Congrats Jim & Catherine!
Our store was closed for the 4th of July, so today is new comic book day!
Totally thrilled I got the Catwoman poster! Ah, my bosses are so cool!
Books:
Stormwatch- I think I have to drop it, I’m just not digging it :(
Simpsons Super Spectacular- Had to get it for the “Nerds of Prey” which I found out about thanks to Tumblr. Loved every second of the Birds of Prey short.
Worlds Finest- I just can’t get into this book :( But will continue to try.
Earth 2- Enjoying it, sad GL’s boyfriend died, but I’m interested in seeing this Earth.
Before Watchmen Ozymandias- I am loving the Watchmen Books. The art in this- wow. Glad they slipped in a hint to his interest in men.
Fairest- It’s okay, I wish it would even out and get going. I’m feeling kinda stagnant with this book even though things keep “happening.”
